Whether a from a nuclear fallout, unknown explosion, a sickness… the world is currently recovering from a devastating time and its inhabitants are struggling to survive.  These books books features a bleak world in which Earth is no longer a vibrant planet but a destroyed desolate chunk of rock, either through war, virus, or plague of some sort.  These books features a very bleak world, which would soon become apparent.
