Alternate Worlds/Dimensions

It is a possibility that there is another world just like ours, only different.  A world where there is magic but no technology.  A world where World War II was won by the Axis powers rather than the Allies.  Many infinite possible worlds.  These books features those worlds and those world have suddenly split into our own realities.  Two sides fighting and/or struggling to survive.  (If you are looking for fae realm books check the fae/fairy category… this category is specifically about alternate earth worlds).  Becareful what you touch, uncover, or see… there are parallel worlds out there.

Books are listed by author’s last name.  A series will be counted as one entry.  The summary of the first book will be the only summary given as later book summary may include spoilers.  Titles that are hyperlinked are linked to their Goodreads page.

Eyes of the KingVoices in the DarkThe Last Descendent Series:  The Eyes of a King (book 1); Voices in the Dark  (book 2)

Fifteen year old Leo North’s prospects in life are limited. He attends military school, lives with his fearful grandmother, and looks after his brother Stirling. He resists his innate powers, because those who demonstrate any sort of magical ability are considered enemies of the state. But when he finds a blank book in the snow, his typical indifference melts away. From the first moment he touches the book, he senses its strange power. Passages start to appear on the pages—revealing family secrets, telling the history of Malonia, and uncovering the story of Ryan and Anna, two teens from a parallel universe. When Leo’s seemingly narrow path takes an unexpected tragic turn, he finds himself on a journey from which he can never really return. And, as he slowly begins to lose touch with reality, Ryan and Anna’s story comes to the forefront. Their idyllic summer romance—seemingly worlds away from Leo—has everything to do with Malonia.
